do you think “developmental toys” are necessary?

For babies?

When i was pregnant i bought lots ( i felt a bit guilty not to … the packaging is such a con for mums to be!! ) but my little one seems much more interested in the humidifier …

Whats your opinion?

lol, I got a chuckle out of this. My son is 6 months old and is more interested in keys and shiny necklaces than his toys that make noise or sounds. He also gets a kick out the tv. If you are walking past the tv with him in your arms, he’ll move whichever way possible to see that screen.

My nephew is 10 months old and seriously I was trying to get him to look and play with his toys, but instead he was digging in the trashcan, trying to get into dog food, and playing with measuring cups. The toys are cute and nice and “baby-looking” and I would imagine that some babies like them, but the babies in my family want everything BUT their toys. lol.
